Captain America, also known as his everyday identity Steve Rogers, is the all american super soldier from Marvel Comics. His character was introduced in the early 1940s, when Marvel was still known as Timely Comics. He soon became an icon during WWII. There was a stint during the 50s where Captain America's story was discontinued, but he was brought back in the 60s and has since remained in publication as a popular character. He is commonly known as the leader of Marvel's Avengers, a team of super heroes.
Captain America's costume is representative of the american flag. It uses the same color scheme, and displays the same red and white stripes across his abdomen and around his shield. A star sits on his chest and the center of the shield. Instead of doing another recreation, I did an eye-look inspired by Captain America's costume.
- Urban Decay Primer Potion
- NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk
- NYX Retractable Lip Liner in Red
- Urban Decay Shadow in Moonshadow
- ColourPop Shadow in Liberty
- Benefit Cosmetics They're Real Mascara
- Ardell Glamour Lash Black 105
- Benefit Erase Paste in Fair
This wasn't a look that I put a lot of thought into before hand, it was just something I decided to play around with. It took about 10 minutes to do one eye while trying to decide on the style mid-creation. In retrospect, the inner corner didn't turn out as well in photos, I would change this by adding more of the silver color here, and dragging it onto the inner corner of the bottom lash line.
Nevertheless, it is always fun to play around with colors I don't often wear!
